To kick off the beginning of 2021, I enjoyed a beautiful day with Natalie and James, and I feel very grateful that I was able to celebrate with them. Like so many others this year, their wedding was originally scheduled for May of 2020 and had to be re-scheduled due to the pandemic. But they made the best of it and it turned out wonderfully!
What I remember the most is the RAIN! I have never experienced such a downpour on the day of a wedding, but they were prepared. The venue, Goodwood Museum and Gardens, had a gorgeous back-up plan space that was thankfully covered!
Side Note: always make sure that you have a plan in place in case it rains!
As a nod to their military background, James wore his Marine uniform and Natalie's wedding dress was actually ordered from a boutique that specifically supports military families. The couple used James's sabre to cut the wedding cake!
As you sift through their gorgeous wedding day pictures below, make sure to check out my antique couch! They rented it for the day as a prop - I have many props that you can choose from and use either during your wedding day, boudoir, or branding photo shoot!
Thank you, Natalie and James, for allowing me to capture all of your beautiful wedding day moments!
The Bride & Groom!
It's been a while since I've blogged! So much has happened since my last post in 2016 that my head is spinning on what to share.
First, I want to re-introduce myself for any new folks (past, present, and future clients!). My name is Courtney Wahl and I am your Tallahassee, Florida Wedding & Boudoir Photographer!
I love my job so much, it's really a passion of mine to the depths of my heart. It is an honor to create lasting memories for my clients.
I have had the time of my life these past few years in Tallahassee with my family (my husband and son) as well as meeting all of my new clients!
Biggest news for our family is that my parents moved up to Tallahassee last year and I'm super excited about that!
So, let's start with the new year of 2021. It's been a wild one as we deal with the pandemic and new ways to still get married, but in a socially distanced, safe way. My motto this year has been #loveisntcancelled, and it sure hasn't!
I want to go back to the very beginning of 2021 and share my beautiful brides and their gorgeous wedding days - so be on the lookout for those!
Here are some pictures of my family to kick things off!
