On August 12 my husband and I welcomed our son Perrin into the world! So excited he is finally here. It was a long 10 months awaiting him, filled with drama and car accidents (2 thankfully we are ok from them.)
He was named after one of my husband Mike's favorite book characters from the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.
Here are some images I'd love to share... Starting with a maternity picture. For those out there thinking no way did I take my own.. That just takes an extra special photographer with patience and a remote trigger. Being pregnant I didn't have the energy for that. I hired a local super talented photographer by the name of Arlena Lee. It was wonderful having this time documented before his arrival. I was 37 weeks at the time of the pictures. Its so important to have these memories!!
Now for pictures of my sweet little man!! Who totally wanted to stay baking for longer I was due on the 8th and had to have a c-section for him to come into this world.
I wouldn't want it any other way though, he's here safe and sound.. I love my sweet little angel face man.,
He is already almost a month old and I can't imagine my life without him. Sleeplessness and all.. I'm ready to enjoy this next chapter in our little family. I'm sure going to have fun photographing it.
I recently got to travel up to New Jersey and NYC for my husbands reunion. I grew up in New York state and I'm sad to say I've never been to the city. Well I now can say I have and I loved it! A day and a half was so not enough to explore it.
But it got me back to doing the type of photography that I fell in love with when I first picked up a camera. I love travel documentary artsy photography. So I keep it just for fun.
I very much have a love of street art.. OMG was this one incredible.
I'm so excited to get to go back sometime to explore the things we didn't have time to see this time. I really want to see all the museums, really go shopping, and eat more amazing food! I hope you enjoy a peak at my trip!
